Pullback (Pull, Grab-Off, Pick-Up) Tap Dance Move
BackPULLBACK (Pull, Grab-Off, Pick-Up) – a1 – jump backwards and as your feet leave the floor they both do a “spank” at the same time then both feet land on the balls of the feet at the same time. “Pull” can also refer to just that first sound – a “spank” coming from a foot with weight on it
Tip: If you can’t get the sound: Travel more, flex the feet a little bit and relax your ankles. Don’t squish your toes inside your shoes for more than a split second (or not at all).

Common Problems & Fixes
Pullbacks (Pull, Grab-Off, Pick-Up) - Problems: Students can't get the sounds - specifically the first sound. This is caused by not traveling far enough, pointing the toes, not getting high enough in the air, going too high in the air and squeezing their toes inside their shoes.
Solutions: For not traveling enough, travel more - a lot more.
For pointing toes, either tell them not to point or, if necessary, tell them to flex their feet a bit.
For not getting high enough, have them go higher into the air.
For going too high into the air, have them keep their feet closer to the floor.
For squeezing toes, have them relax their toes.
